The DIE Shockwave is the first of the Wonder Weapons on Die Maschine, the first new Call of Duty: Zombies map for Black Ops Cold War. This killer weapon destroys zombies with electroshocks and can be upgraded into several different alternate versions. Before you even think about upgrading, you need to acquire the D.I.E Shockwave.
This is an easter egg weapon, so you'll need to complete some weird little side quests to unlock it. The DIE Shockwave is just the first step into the larger world of Wonder Weapon – like previous Zombies maps, there are four variants to find around the map, and each (could) be needed to complete the main quest in the game. 'Easter eggs.
Let's keep it simple. Here's what you need to do to get the Shockwave Superweapon DIE.

There are two methods to earn the DIE Shockwave - it can be found as a random drop in the Mystery box (marked by a light beacon in the sky) or you can earn it by complete an easter egg side quest.
We will discuss how to complete side quest here. The parallel quest is required to upgrade the DIE Shockwave later in your run. Follow these steps to get the Shockwave DIE.
- NOTE: Before you begin, make sure you have unlocked the Pack-a-Punch and turned it on.
Step #1: Get the DIE Remote
After restoring power, wait for a mini-boss monster to call a Megaton spawns. Kill the Megaton et collect the golden keycard he falls. Bring the access card to the Weapons Lab Establishment section of the map.
Weapons Lab, find a computer on the wall opposite the Mystery Box spawn (it can be active or inactive) – use the golden keycard on the weapon lab computer and PASS AWAY. Remote control will appear. To pick it up!
Step #2: Load the DIE With Souls
Then, return to the starting building of the map which resembles the original Walking Dead map Night of the Underdead. Go to the first floor Living Room and look for a cracked wall across from the stairs with a blue glow emanating from the other side.
Interact with the shiny blue hole à activate the DIE Machine on another side. Now you need to direct nearby zombies and kill them – you will see their souls fly out and enter the machine. Kill 30 zombies here.
Once you have killed enough zombies, the PASS AWAY. shock wave will appear! You can now start blasting zombies more easily – until you want to upgrade to one of the additional elemental variants.
