God of War Ragnarok fans notice that Kratos has gotten bigger

God of War fans can't wait to get their hands on the franchise's next big installment. God of War Ragnarok is coming next year, and with it, we'll close Norse mythology. However, fans have noticed that Kratos has grown a lot since his time in 2022's God of War version and this upcoming installment. A new comparison photo shows the character and how he prepares for war.

Kratos never looked small in these video games. It was always built like a tank. However, you may notice a difference between the 2022 Kratos character model and the upcoming Ragnarok character model. Serious pounds of muscle have been added to Kratos, and fans appreciate that this little detail goes along with the storyline. If you don't remember, God of War 2022 freed Kratos and his family from any real danger.

There wasn't much reason to prepare for battles against monstrous enemies or gods. However, the game begins with the Norse gods discovering Kratos' presence. Now, we know that some time has passed between the events, and during that time, it looks like Kratos has been working hard to get back into even better overall fighting shape. As he prepared for Ragnarok, it seems Kratos got rid of the rust.

God of War Ragnarok takes place three years after the events of 2022's God of War release. Now players are looking to stop Ragnarok from happening, but that will mean hunting down the Norse god of war, Tyr. As of now, we don't have a definite release date for this game yet. Currently, we will be getting the game in 2022. That said, when it releases, gamers can expect the game for the platforms PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
